Data We Collect

We collect your email address when you sign up to receive our free guide or subscribe to editorial updates. That is the only personal data we request directly.

We also collect anonymized page analytics. Our analytics approach is privacy-first: we do not store personal identifiers, do not use fingerprinting techniques, and do not share individual-level data with third parties. Analytics data helps us understand which content is useful so we can write more of it.

How We Use Your Data

Your email address is used for three purposes only: to deliver the guide you requested, to send occasional editorial updates (no more than twice monthly), and for internal reporting on email open rates. We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address to any third party.

If you sign up for the guide and do not want further emails, you can unsubscribe immediately after the first message arrives. We will not send you anything else.

Affiliate Links and Cookies

This site contains affiliate links to third-party retailers including Amazon and direct brand websites. When you click an affiliate link and visit a retailer's site, that retailer may set cookies on your device according to their own privacy policies. We have no control over how affiliate partners collect or use data, and their practices are governed by their own terms.

We do not set tracking cookies ourselves. Any cookies present on this site originate from third-party embeds or affiliate redirect chains.

Third-Party Services

Google Fonts are loaded from Google's CDN servers. When your browser requests a font file, Google may log your IP address and browser information per their own privacy policy. We use Google Fonts because they provide high-quality, fast-loading typography - if you prefer, you can block Google Fonts requests via browser extensions without affecting your ability to read the site.

Our email delivery service stores your email address in order to send requested messages. We use a reputable provider with standard security practices. You can request deletion of your email record at any time by contacting us.

Your Rights

You can unsubscribe from all emails at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any message we send. You can also email hello@plungedepth.com to request deletion of your data from our email list and any associated records. We respond to data requests within 30 days.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have additional rights under GDPR or UK GDPR, including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you.
